Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Flow Coordinator, this position performs complex clerical duties related to patient bed allocation, admissions, direct admissions, and transfers of patients. The bed planner communicates with a wide multi-disciplinary team when advocating for patient movement/admission. This position requires attention to details and processes. The bed planner must be able to prioritize bed allocation while taking into account patient needs and site capacity needs while striving to assign the right bed, the first time.

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working with Connect Care. Medical terminology course completed.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of the PLC units and services. Previous Bed Placement experience of 2 or more years.
