Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
The Alberta Children’s Hospital (ACH) is a bright, modern, family centered facility that is a cornerstone for quality care and research for the children of Calgary and southern Alberta. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of Admin V's to provide administrative support to a large Allied Health Portfolio (apprx. 425). Work assignment is focused on advanced payroll and scheduling liaison duties but also includes supportive roles with recruitment, procurement and supplies, access and systems management, data reporting clerical support and orientation, bookkeeping and other administrative duties as needed. Frequent professional collaboration with operational leaders, healthcare providers, staff scheduling, rotation management, abilities, human resources, finance and payroll is required. This is an informal leadership position that actively engages in a shared model of teamwork, flexibility and dedication to continuous improvement across a broad range of clinicians and services. Mentorship and training of other administrative positions is required.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:2-5 years' experience in AHS Payroll and Scheduling processes and systems. Working knowledge of Collective Agreements, scheduling rules and workflows. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Demonstrated proficiency with math, electronic platforms, detailed work, and self-directed organization. Able to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience at ACH or other Ambulatory Clinic/Allied Health areas in a large urban hospital setting.
