Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Rural Acute Care – Wetaskiwin, you will have the opportunity to assist the management team with recruitment, taking minutes at several committees, assisting with day-to-day operations and queries from Staff. You will contribute to supporting rural acute care leadership team at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and be part of the larger admin team. To be successful you will have excellent communication, strong interpersonal, and exceptional organization skills, with the ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize workload. MS Office, AHS systems knowledge and skills will be essential to the role.

Description:

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in customer service including strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient with MS Office, and other IT platforms relevant to the position. Must be able to multi-task in a busy and fast paced environment. Ability to work independently but also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with the inter-professional team.
