Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least 2+ years of extensive metrics-driven customer service experience, inbound call center experience and problem-solving skills are required. Demonstrated superior customer service skills (both oral and written). 2+ years’ experience in HR Shared Services, human resources, Payroll or HR Administration. Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with using complex systems such as e-People and ServiceNow. Extensive customer service experience and problem-solving skills. Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be an intermediate user (or above) in using Microsoft Office programs (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams). Demonstrated experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders. Some experience providing coaching and training to internal and external stakeholders. Must be quick to learn new computer applications. Knowledge of or previous experience in a unionized environment. A flexible schedule between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (which may change over time), is required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PeopleSoft (e-People), RMS (recruiting management software), and/or eRecords is an asset. Previous experience in a contact center setting is an asset. Experience working with collective agreements is an asset. Knowledge on payroll, time and labour, shift differentials, ESP (Provincial Staff Scheduling), and collective agreement articles regarding pay is an asset.
