Administrative Support IV - Program Coordinator

Employee Wellness supports the psychological health and wellbeing of Emergency Health Services-Alberta (EHS) across the province. Reporting to the Program Manager, Employee Wellness, the Program Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating and supporting provincial wellness initiatives for EHS staff. Working with leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders, you will help administer training programs, coordinate projects, manage communications, support data-informed decision-making, and contribute to Employee Wellness initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating wellness training programs, webinars, and learning opportunities; Managing training schedules, registrations, communications, attendance tracking, and evaluations; Coordinating conference sponsorship, presentations, and attendance; Supporting innovative wellness initiatives including family support programs; Maintaining Employee Wellness webpages and Teams channels keeping information current, accessible, and engaging; Monitoring program budgets and supporting financial reporting; Collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data to support continuous improvement. Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a two-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years experience coordinating programs, projects, training, or initiatives within a complex organization. Demonstrated project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience managing registrations, databases, participant records, surveys, and reporting processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop engaging communications and program materials. Experience collecting, interpreting, and presenting data and evaluation results. Knowledge of budget monitoring and financial tracking practices. Demonstrated ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and develop practical solutions in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Business Administration or a related field. Knowledge of public safety personnel, emergency services, healthcare, or employee wellbeing programs. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau. Experience coordinating conferences, training programs, or large-scale events.
