Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of a recognized Clerk course required. Current experience within the last 5 years experience in PAC required. Two years minimum experience within last Five years as a Clerk in an Acute Care facility and/or outpatient surgical setting required. Demonstrated reliability to attend scheduled shifts. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in assigned duties. Demonstrated computer skills required with current knowledge and experience with software programs such as Millennium Scheduling, SCM/Clinibase, Excel, Word, ESP, OACCS, Netcare, Internet, and Email. Demonstrated high functioning time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions in a changing environment. Demonstrated positive and effective interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and independence in a team atmosphere. Demonstrated ability to adapt towards change.
