Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent required. Medical Terminology required. Medical Office assistant Diploma required. Experience in Admitting or in Bed Planning. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills of 40-50 wpm required. Demonstrated proficiency of Netcare and Windows (Microsoft Word, EDIS, Tandem, Skype, Excel and Access).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience at the UAH preferred. Prior experience working with the public is preferred. Client support leadership experience is preferred. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to remain calm, courteous, and tactful at all times. Demonstrated ability to work well under stress and heavy workload. Must be able to prioritize on an ongoing basis Demonstrated ability to work independently.
