Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology / 2 years of experience in a health care setting. Demonstrate an expertise in Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and, excellent written and oral communication. Advance knowledge of computer technology and applications Strong grammar and proof-reading skills. Time management with proficient organizational skills. Ability to work and problem solve under minimal supervision. Goal oriented, results driven with high attention to detail. Demonstrates excellence and effectiveness in communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes; general office policies and procedures.
