Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:Certificate in office or business administration required. Advanced medical terminology required. 3 years’ experience in the last 5 years scheduling patients required. Demonstrated skill and experience with the Mircosoft Office suite of tools. Demonstrated intermediate skill with Excel spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications:Intimate knowledge of the ORM scheduling application in Meditech. Preference in hiring will be given to candidates with 3 years of recent Surgical Booking, Nursing or Medical Office experience booking patients for appointments/procedures.
