Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, supplemented by a post-secondary Secretarial or Administrative Support certificate and at least 2 - 3 years working in an office setting, with progressively responsible experience delivering support to managers. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is required with certification being an asset. Intermediate skills in Excel required and experience working with SharePoint. The successful candidate must have a minimum typing speed 55 WPM. Ability to recognize potential errors and provide solutions, troubleshooting skills required. Fast and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail required. Ability to deal with varied and diverse issues/groups/individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess strong interpersonal & decision-making skills and communication skills (Contact center experience is an asset). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Have a strong knowledge of office policies and procedures. Ability to work independently with confidence, efficiency, and accuracy under pressure. Well-developed organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications.
