Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
The Edmonton Radiopharmaceutical Centre is a centralized radiopharmacy utilizing unique procedures and systems to supply radiopharmaceuticals to Nuclear Medicine sites across Alberta. The incumbent must be able to perform and address issues related to the administrative operations of this department. The individual must provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility, and initiative. Provides reception for incoming calls, department visitors, and deliveries. Receives, verifies, enters, and prints product orders using the department’s radiopharmaceutical prescription software. Liaises with the requestor for any clarifications or issues. Performs department timekeeper duties. Verifies validity of and codes non-PO invoices in Accounts Payable system. Schedules courier pickups and drop-offs for daily deliveries of radiopharmaceuticals with contracted vendor. Maintains inventory of cold kit supplies used in Tc99m radiopharmaceutical preparations. Places orders with vendors as needed. Provides coverage for department’s other administrative staff.

Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with GMP and Health Canada radiopharmaceutical regulations. Inventory control and procurement experience, 3-5 years. Computer skills including word, excel, outlook, and web-based procurement systems. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. Significant customer service experience, including contact in person, by telephone, and by email.
