Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager Ambulatory Care and Systemic Therapy at the JACC, the Clerk IV provides advanced level clerical and/or administrative support, performing duties that focus on supporting the; outpatient physician clinics (OPD), chemotherapy unit , navigator roles, RT and supportive care providers within the center. This position performs the functions of; booking/scheduling patient clinics, counselling, and chemo treatment appointments, general reception, patient and health Information control. The Clerk IV must be able to perform complex duties, organize multiple demands with shifting priorities, which impact one or all areas/providers and patients within the center. Responsibilities of the Clerk IV require independent judgment and solid knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures. The Clerk IV is an integral member of the Cancer Care team in the Jack Ady Cancer Centre.

Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Education: Completion of a Grade 12 High School Diploma required. Completion of a Medical Office Assistant, office administration, or Unit Clerk program required. Completion of a medical terminology course required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Microsoft Office/Excel preferred. Experience in use of Clinical informatic system/connect care.
