Join a professional, passionate team dedicated to helping eligible patients navigate, coordinate and receive Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Calgary and Central Alberta. The Admin Support IV is a key part of the MAiD Team, working out of Rockyview General Hospital. Reporting to the Care Manager the Admin Support IV is responsible for supporting the operations of the multidisciplinary team and program in Calgary and Central Alberta. Working under minimal guidance and direction, the Admin Support IV demonstrates enhanced skills to perform a variety of specialised activities, including but not limited to, payroll support and administration, team scheduling and coordination, recruitment and onboarding support, development and maintenance of tracking tools (team time and location, service provision), and database maintenance. The Admin Support IV works closely with the Admin Support III, MAiD Coordinators and RNs. Strong organisation and communication skills are required, in addition to attention to detail; the successful candidate must be able to balance multiple priorities and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate is flexible, process-oriented, and compassionate. The position requires an ability to work and communicate effectively within a small but expert/complex interdisciplinary team. Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recognized Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant certificate required. 5 years Admin Support experience, minimum two years in community-based program. Experience with scheduling and payroll. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 Programs and other computer use. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy; ability to evaluate work tasks for completion and accuracy. Well-developed organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to work independently but also as part of a team. Excellent patient relations skills with ability to de-escalate and appropriately manage difficult interactions with patients. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and prioritize with frequent interruptions. Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm. Must be comfortable with Medical Assistance in Dying.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with RedCAP. Experience with invoices and coding. Experience with Connect Care. Participation in a Launch an asset. Experience with WFM. Experience supporting recruitment activities.
