Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV (AS IV) provides advanced level administrative support for the Community Accessible Rehabilitation (CAR) Program. CAR is a multidisciplinary rehab program for adults with complex neurological and musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This position is based on-site at the South Calgary Health Centre. This position supports our Central Access and Triage for the management of program referrals. It is the initial point of contact for clients seeking treatment through CAR programs and includes the intake and processing of referrals to a waitlist, scheduling clients in Connect Care/Epic and supporting all referral management processes. The successful candidate will have experience with referral management and scheduling for a team of clinicians and will excel while working within a busy team environment yet be confident to work independently with limited supervision when required. A demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients, families and others outside organization is an asset. The successful candidate will be organized, reliable, accountable to their work, adaptable, enthusiastic and a solid team member. The AS IV must have the ability to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities. They will possess excellent time management skills, be a strong communicator and be able to develop positive interpersonal relationships. The workload for all positions within CAR may be subject to change based on operational considerations. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Friday 0700-1515. Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary education (medical office assistant, business administration diploma or equivalent) required. Medical terminology course required. At least one year of recent experience within the past 2 years (minimum of 0.8FTE) performing referral intake, waitlist management and scheduling for multiple clinicians (within last 2 years) using Epic workflows in the five Referral Workqueues. Demonstrated client-centered customer service and excellent telephone skills. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). At least 1 year of experience as an Admin Support IV in an ambulatory clinical setting (within the last 3 years). Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written English required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience scheduling groups, including scheduling/supporting virtual service delivery.
