Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
This position is required to be on site at Vegreville CHC and is not a remote working opportunity. As a team member of the Community Administration Support team, Central Zone, this Administrative Support IV will provide assistance to Public Health and Home Care. Assistance will be required with payroll validation and staff responsibility assignments to meet the changing staffing requirements for the team. This position will also work to support the public health and home care staff and other CAS administrative support positions operating from the site. This Administrative Support IV will provide other clerical support, including but not limited to developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets, completing data extractions, manipulation and reporting; creating forms, templates, presentation materials, and flowcharts; will coordinate meetings and take minutes and will also track employee information on behalf of the managers. The Administrative Support IV will work with postings, processing of HR change requests, and activities associated with staffing changes. This position requires strong technical skills, absolute attention to detail and accuracy, and strong working knowledge of established policies, procedures and collective agreement provisions.

Additional Required Qualifications:Accuracy & proficiency in advanced computer & keyboarding skills; minimum 60 wpm required. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in working with Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar bookings & other Windows Office Suite programs required. Test will be administered. Three to five years’ experience in a progressively responsible clerical position within a health care industry. Familiarity with Netcare, CPSM, G&T supply requisitioning systems & Connect Care applications. Familiarity with community-based health programs & ability to work collaboratively with managers & staff from the various departments is a must. Willingness to learn new data systems as implemented. Ability to exercise judgment, professionalism, diplomacy & discretion & maintain confidentiality at all times. Ability to work effectively within a team approach or independently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. Ability to cope under pressure, deal with stress effectively & demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with setting priorities to work productively & in a well-organized manner. Must be able to wear a medical mask. Must be capable of pushing & pulling wheeled carts up to & occasionally exceeding 25kgs. Must be capable of walking, sitting or standing for long periods of time. Must be able to regularly use hand & arms to reach, lift & carry items up to 25kgs. Must be able to maneuver stairs &/or step stool.
Preferred Qualifications:Payroll (e-People/WFM), Oracle, RMS system and Collective Agreements understanding will be an asset. Previous experience working in a capacity of providing direct support to management staff is preferred.
