Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV provides comprehensive and specialized administrative assistance to management teams within Assisted Living Alberta, reporting directly to the Area Manager. This position performs a full range of administrative, operational, and coordination duties to support the overseeing of 72 Supportive Living beds within a Continuing Care Home. Working under minimal guidance, the Administrative Support IV applies advanced administrative skills, sound judgment, and discretion to manage complex task, coordinate resources, and support operational effectiveness across multiple programs. Responsibilities are as directed and required by Leadership, such as, clinical and operational support, administrative responsibilities, unit support, onboarding and training coordination for new team members. The Administrative Support IV will assist Leadership with staffing documentation, recruitment coordination, and HR form processing; Maintains confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive personnel and client information; Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities in administrative processes across portfolios. Provides coverage/support to other administrative staff as required during absences or workload peaks. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Medical Office Assistant/Business administrative program. Microsoft Office programs along with experience with different software systems, and the ability to efficiently manage digital communication and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Effective communication skills (verbal and written). Knowledge of the Connect Care system.
