Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support IV provides comprehensive and specialized administrative assistance to management teams within Assisted Living Alberta, reporting directly to the Manager of Ambulatory Clinics and Administration. This position performs a full range of administrative, operational, and coordination duties to support managers overseeing Home Care, Ambulatory Clinics, Shelters, and Housing portfolios. Working under minimal guidance, the Administrative Support IV applies advanced administrative skills, sound judgment, and discretion to manage complex tasks, coordinate resources, and support operational effectiveness across multiple programs. This role is distinguished from lower levels by a higher degree of independence, decision-making, and specialization requiring proficiency developed through education and extensive on-the-job experience. Key Responsibilities As Directed and Required by Leadership: Program and Managerial Support. Clinical and Operational Support. Staff Scheduling and Payroll. Financial and Procurement Activities. Additional Administrative Responsibilities. Supports onboarding, orientation, and training coordination for new team members. Assists managers with staffing documentation, recruitment coordination, and HR form processing. Maintains confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive personnel and client information. Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities in administrative processes across portfolios. Provides back-up or cross-coverage support to other administrative staff as required during absences or workload peaks.

Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one year staff scheduling experience. A working knowledge of the various applicable collective agreements and pay codes. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:Timekeeping experience.
