Your Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Administrative Support to join our Emergency Health Services (EHS) team, based out of North Zone EHS Headquarters in Grande Prairie. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the critical operations of EHS in an administerial capacity. The role provides administrative support to a team of EHS leaders, while supporting day-to-day administration duties to ensure seamless and efficient administrative operations across the North Zone. The Administrative Support IV is an integral part of the North Zone EHS office team. Under the direction of the Administrative Coordinator, you will ensure consistent application of administrative policies, procedures, and standards within the office. This position works closely with other management, clerical and clinical staff as well as outside stakeholders. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, EHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary certificate in office administration related studies (Business Administration, Medical Office Assistant, Office Administration). Equivalent job experience as per management discretion, with a minimum 2 years of recent administrative experience. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
