Your Opportunity:
The Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC) program is seeking an organized, professional, and proactive Administrative Support IV to provide high‑level administrative and operational support to the PFCC Team Lead, Coordinators, and program areas. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflows, accurate processes, and a welcoming experience for patients and families. The Administrative Support IV manages a wide range of tasks including scheduling, meeting coordination, data entry and reporting, payroll support, HR and financial processes, document preparation, and communication management. The role also provides frontline support in the PFCC Family Room and handles confidential information with discretion and professionalism. This position requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, advanced organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently while supporting a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, and virtual meeting tools. Demonstrated ability to interact with patients and families in high‑stress situations and from diverse backgrounds. Ability to manage confidential information and competing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑service mindset. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required (e.g., moving supplies, deliveries, Family Room support).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a pediatric tertiary hospital setting. Knowledge of AHS systems, processes, and administrative workflows (e.g., RMS, e-People, financial tracking tools). Training or experience in trauma‑informed practice, cultural safety, or customer service. Previous experience supporting multidisciplinary teams or volunteer‑based programs.
