Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV position is an integral part of the Children’s Allied Health multidisciplinary team consisting of Audiology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech language Pathology and Therapy assistants. As an Administrative Support IV you will be working as part of the Audiology and Children’s Allied Health Intake team. Responsibilities of the Administrative Support IV require independent judgment, critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills. The Administrative Support IV performs complex referral management, clerical, purchasing and overall program support. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential in this role. This position requires proficient use of Connect Care, and various other AHS IT Systems. The Administrative Support IV is highly skilled in all aspects of department patient flow, time management and organizational skills while being able to demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. The incumbent must have the ability to respect the confidential nature of healthcare information as per AHS policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with complex referral booking within Connect Care. Previous community pediatric admin support experience is an asset.
