Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager of Child Life, Awasisak and Patient Family Centered Care, the role will support all three areas with a focus on the Child Life Department. The primary purpose of this role is to support both the Manager as well as all members of the Child Life Team which currently includes child life specialists and art/music therapists. Responsibilities include calendar management, coordination of schedules and meeting preparations as well as responding to and resolving operational issues and requirements, processing staff scheduling and payroll, and completing various information management and reporting requirements specific to the area. There is financial responsibility which includes reconciliation of P Card, Foundation budget management and tracking in addition to payroll duties. This role works closely with members of the Stollery Foundation to organize events, donations and coordinating child life representation for presentations. This position requires excellent written and verbal skills, collaboration, discretion, organization, AHS policy and protocol knowledge, understanding of basic accounting, excellent computer skills, managing internal and external relationships and administrative duties. This role requires a working comprehension of Insite, RMS, Outlook, Excel and Sharepoint.

Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary coursework related to office management or equivalence. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an environment with children, youth, and families. Expert knowledge and operation of Microsoft Suite and Excel. Advanced computer skills including managing electronic filing systems. Minimum 3 years of administrative experience. Must have strong communication and organizational skills, strong in Word/Excel and Sharepoint.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of e-People timekeeping basics, Timekeeper information session, Finance for managers, completing transactions in Markview, e-People time approver, e-People RMS for managers and collaborators.
