Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support IV to advance the department’s academic, research, and clinical mission. This role is ideal for an experienced academic administrator who enjoys combining communication, design, and coordination in a dynamic and collegial environment. You will lead the creation of the department’s weekly digital newsletter and annual report, transforming academic and clinical accomplishments into engaging, professional communications that highlight the department’s impact. Working closely with faculty and leadership, you’ll gather content, design layouts, and produce final publications using tools such as MailChimp and Adobe Creative Suite. Beyond communications, you’ll support the academic life of the department by managing faculty CVs, copy editing manuscripts, and preparing research productivity reports, ensuring all materials meet institutional and publication standards. The position also coordinates external vendors—including photography, printing, and AV services—and oversees invoice processing through AHS and University of Calgary systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values precision, professionalism, and collaboration, and who takes pride in producing high-quality academic and visual materials. Your work will directly contribute to showcasing the department’s excellence in research, education, and patient care.
