Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A High School Diploma is required. Successful completion of a recognized secretarial or office administration program and a minimum of two years administrative office experience is required. Competent and proficient computer skills; knowledge of PC applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook are required. Proof reading skills, excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required. Use of office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, multi - line telephone systems and voice messaging is required. The incumbent must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction, have excellent organizational, prioritizing and multitasking skills; as well as the ability to cope with a fast paced, changing environment with diverse staff. The incumbent must demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility, and initiative. All new employees will be required to attend a 4-day Environmental Services Orientation and a 1-day AHS Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to internal AHS applicants. Experience in payroll and scheduling would be an asset. Knowledge of Environmental Services would be an asset.
