Additional Required Qualifications:An Administrative Professional diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a community addiction and mental health setting is required. Two to five years of progressively responsible administration experience is required. Experience in an administrative role within a healthcare environment working with physicians. Strong computer skills with excellent Microsoft Office knowledge are essential. The ability to work independently and prioritize workload is necessary. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills are required. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy are a must. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of Connect Care is required to be successful in this position.
Preferred Qualifications:The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Expertise in managing electronic filing systems, shared drives and records management. Knowledge of Legislative Acts and AHS HIM Access & Disclosure guidelines is preferred.
