Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced training in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Skills will be tested as a part of the recruitment process. 3 years or more of intermediate-senior administrative experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think critically, problem-solve complex issues, and prioritize effectively to meet objectives. Demonstrated experience in collaboration, coordination, and negotiating with multiple stakeholders. Innovative and able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in finance, medical/academic settings would be an asset. Experience working with Alberta Health Services or the University of Calgary in a professional setting. Software experience in Publisher, Visio, People Soft, e-People, Websites (Drupal), Reference Manager, QuickBooks, etc., are an asset.
