Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Successful completion of an approved secretarial/administrative professional post-secondary program. Three to five years administrative assistant / office management experience in the last 5 years required. Typing speed of 50 - 60 wpm required. Detail-oriented, confident and concise decision-making is required. An equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in health information management and/or health care environment, preferred. Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction in a dynamic environment.
