Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent required. Medical Terminology Course required. Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience required. Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience. Accurate and proficient Keyboarding skills, 35 wpm Typing test will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recognized Medical Office Assistance or Clerical Course applicable to the position. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows - Word, Excel, Internet, and Email. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive and tactful at all times. Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain strict confidentiality.
