Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills are required. Ability to remain calm while using tact and diplomacy to negotiate solutions with difficult customers. Ability to contribute as a positive team player in a customer/patient focused service environment. Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Strong organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and follow through with commitments and meet deadlines. High attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage stressful situations. Demonstrated ability to learn and use multiple computer systems. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office applications. A positive attitude towards change. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in an accounting office within a large scale organization is required. This must include Customer Service / Call Centre experience dealing with the public from diverse backgrounds, and/or Collections & Billing experience, dealing with individuals. At least one year of experience and demonstrated proficiency, working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook in a business environment.
