Your Opportunity:

The incumbent is responsible for managing the flow of information and providing clerical support to staff and physicians in the Ambulatory clinic. As front-line contact, the incumbent is required to provide a high standard of interpersonal communication and must have the ability to coordinate the program resources in order to meet the needs of the Patients referred for treatment. The incumbent is shall demonstrate confidentiality, flexibility, and initiative. Evidence of excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. Successful completion of a recognized course in medical terminology is required. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential. Required: e-Clinician scheduling and referral experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer technology and applications required, including Word, ACCESS, Excel, e-mail, PowerPoint, Internet, e-Clinician, and e-people. Experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive organization an asset.
