Your Opportunity:

Planning & Program Support within the Edmonton Zone Continuing Care portfolio, has an immediate opening for a fulltime Administrative Support IV supporting the Business Intelligence Team. Working with a diverse team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, this position has a strong emphasis on remediating and submitting data to the Alberta Continuing Care Information System (ACCIS). The candidate should have a strong background working with and analyzing data. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Prepares and distributes confidential information and supporting documents for a wide range of meetings. Produces, edits and formats a variety of correspondence including letters, inquiries, memos, and contracts, reports, tracking tools, presentations, agendas and minutes. Assists in the coordination and production of complex reports and analytics. Assists with the administration of the BI SharePoint site content. Uses data, develops graphs, charts, information graphics and presentations. Coordinates/schedules meetings in MS-Outlook including booking meeting rooms/projectors, and when required, arranges refreshments, and sets ups/takes down for meetings. Assists with the coordination of centralized email inbox. Supports a variety of standard office procedures and administrative support functions to ensure day to day workflow remains continuous. Ensures appropriate supplies and equipment are available for teams.


As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of continuing care programs and services, to be able to identify and remediate clinical data-related issues. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with the Meditech clinical information system and Alberta Continuing Care Information System. Demonstrated experience remediating large volumes of data and working with a variety of clinical and managerial stakeholders to achieve same. Advanced MS-Excel skills. This position requires long periods of viewing and working with large data sets. Advanced focus and error identification skills are required.
