Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience working in Public Health. Five (5) years recent experience in AVI managing vaccine distribution. Ability to understand, interpret and apply a variety of procedures concerning the control and distribution of vaccines. Ability to prioritize, plan and organize own workload to comply with established schedules. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external contacts. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Strong interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with others. Evident of initiative and flexibility. Evident of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail in performing technical and clerical duties. Evidence of responsibility in vaccine handling. Evidence of ability to meet timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of various computer programs including word processing, database, spreadsheet and electronic mail applications.
