Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask and work with minimal direct supervision required. Accurate keyboarding rate of 50 words/minute required; will be tested during interview. Excellent English verbal and written skills required. Pleasant and understandable phone manner required. MOA or Unit Clerk certificate required. Medical Terminology Course required. Advanced level of Microsoft Office applications. Alberta Netcare.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR). Advanced Millennium Scheduler. Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered Degree would be considered an asset. Strong communication skills utilizing a variety of modalities and ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of specific patient, relay patient information to primary health care provider(s), on and off-site, in a timely, concise, accurate manner. Strong team player who can work cooperatively.
