Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology Course. Accurate and proficient Keyboarding skills, 35 wpm. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:Recognized Medical Office Assistance or Clerical Course applicable to the position. Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging experience. Prior experience working with the public an asset. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive and tactful at all times. Equipment troubleshooting, printer, fax, PC.
