Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent organizational skills.Ability to prioritize workload in the face of multiple demands. Understands the importance and practices of confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Ability to promote a positive attitude and be respectful of others.
Preferred Qualifications:Some post-secondary education preferred (e.g. course(s) in office or business administration, medical office assistant).Good knowledge base with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience using the Meditech, Netcare and Connect Care programs desired. Community Wide Scheduling module preferred. Good typing skills (40 wpm preferred).Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an asset.
