As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Fluency in the English language. Fluency in the written and spoken English language. Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent Admin Certificate must be attached along with resume. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant manner. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Must be flexible and able to deal with stress and short timelines Demonstrated strong organizational skills, consistent attention to detail, flexibility, self-direction, and prioritization of work is essential. The incumbent must possess strong conflict resolution skills and display excellent judgement analytical capabilities. Must be able to exercise judgement, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion particularly when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Must be a critical thinker, be self-directed and highly motivated. Must possess sound decision-making skills and display the ability to make decisions appropriately and quickly in new situations. Must demonstrate strong team building skills and commitment to team approach and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. (other members of the health care team). Advanced computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience Minimum of 1 – 2 years of Health Care administrative experience. Public Health, Allied Health and Home Care experience preferred. Payroll & Timekeeper experience and staff scheduling experience is an asset. Experience with Connect Care, CPSM, SharePoint is an asset.
