Your Opportunity:

The administrative support III for the Colon Cancer Screening Centre (CCSC) will perform clerical duties required to support a very busy outpatient clinic. Responsibilities and duties include general reception and clerical duties, booking patient for pre-procedure, procedure and post-procedure appointments. The Administrative Support III is responsible to enter patient information into Connect Care. Experience with this system is required. CCSC is a very busy, fast paces environment and the ability to work within a team environment is essential to this position. Customer service, problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential to be successful in this role.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

MOA/Unit Clerk course. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel. Minimum 2 years’ experience. Previous experience with Connect Care, Ambulatory and Lumens environment. Experience with a multi-line phone system required. Previous outpatient clinic experience required. Typing skills mandatory. Clear and concise telephone and communication skills with pleasant manner required. Organizational skills required. Manual dexterity, frequent walking and physically able to carry a weight of up to 15 lbs when required. Time management and ability to prioritize work is essential to this self-directed position. Must be able to function in a high volume, fast paced, multidisciplinary environment.
