Addiction and Mental Health Community Services in Brooks, AB is currently in search of a highly organized and empathetic individual to fill the role of Administrative Support III. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of addiction and mental health challenges, excellent communication skills, a comprehensive proficiency in office programs, and a high level of empathy to effectively address issues and concerns. Operating under guidance and direction, the Administrative Support staff will be responsible for tasks related to scheduling clinical appointments and managing clinical schedules. Key responsibilities for this position encompass providing clinical support to our clients, staff, and leadership teams. This includes operational support such as maintaining confidential records following Health Information Management (HIM) procedures, scheduling and coordinating multiple appointments with various stakeholders and resources. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of entering timesheets and resolving discrepancies. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Administrative Support III position should possess comprehensive practical knowledge of various Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Proficiency in Zoom for virtual meetings. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability to different software systems, and the ability to efficiently manage digital communication and documentation. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office setting. The application for this position requires submission of updated resume and cover letter.
Preferred Qualifications:Post-Secondary Education (certificate or diploma) in office technology or administrative assistance/management. Completion of training for Connect Care: Ambulatory Clerk/Admin and Ambulatory Advanced Schegistrar with referrals.
