Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Care Manager overseeing Intake and Community Outreach Services, Children Youth & Families, the incumbent is responsible for the delivery of administrative support services for the ongoing operations of the centralized Intake Team. The successful candidate will be a member of the Administrative Support team responsible for supporting the work of the Intake Therapists and the delivery of central reception and switchboard services. This position will be in contact with caregivers, children, youth and families who are dealing with mental health concerns. The Administrative Support III provides a wide range of clerical support toward the daily operations of the Children Youth and Families Addiction and Mental Health Intake Service. Duties include filing and photocopying, payroll entry, booking appointments, chart management, data entry into program databases and anticipating the needs and demands of the program. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team. Work is completed with a high level of independence but also interdependent within a larger team environment. This position will support multi areas and staff will be deployed to other sites to provide administrative coverage. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High school diploma with post-secondary secretarial certificate required (related education or equivalent experience will be considered). Other relevant business or office training is an asset. Computer/software education or experience is essential. Knowledge of computer technology and applications, office or business application, database (Access, Oracle, ePeople, Connect Care or other), PowerPoint and Excel are essential. Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and public relations skills are essential. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment record and references. Must be flexible in adapting to new environments as staff will cover multiple areas within the CYF portfolio.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years progressively responsible experience in a health/mental health care background is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical terminology is an asset. Connect Care experience preferred.
