Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a patient centered, compassionate and energetic individual to work as administrative support for the 8 bed Medically Supported Detox Program at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills that are equally balanced with a knowledgeable and caring approach to recovery-oriented services in the community. This part time position is an initial point of contact for individuals who will be accessing our services and as such will set the warm and welcoming tone of the program. This position works day shifts in a 4-week rotation that does include alternating weekend work. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Unit Clerk or Administrative position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience processing orders would be an asset. Experience in an Addiction & Mental Health setting would be an asset. Experience managing program staffing would be an asset. Experience registering patients would be an asset. Connect Care is an asset.
