Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recognized Unit Clerk, medical office assistant certificate, or equivalent is required. Minimum 1-year acute care health facility medical office experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required. Knowledge of e-People timekeeping is required. Proficient knowledge of Connect Care Scheduling is required. Knowledge of hospital scheduling practices and union collective agreements is required. Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to embrace change. Must be motivated, self-directed, and able to prioritize competing tasks. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Must be flexible, able to prioritize and organize to meet the needs of a large, multi-disciplinary team. Reliability and accountability are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:A comprehensive understanding of Rehabilitation and Therapeutic services in both acute and outpatient settings is an asset.
