Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary certification in Medical Office Administration, Unit Clerk or equivalent required. Completion of Medical Terminology course is required and may be demonstrated through a written test. Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. Connect Care experience/proficiency required. Ability to work independently and be self-directed. Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a team. A strong commitment to providing Patient and Family Centered Care is essential for this position.Physical demands include long hours of sitting, standing, and walking within program. Previous experience in data entry and high level of keyboarding is required.
Preferred Qualifications:MOA/Unit Clerk experience in a high acuity setting is preferred. Relevant education & experience may be considered. Previous recent ophthalmology experience preferred. *Please note - only candidates who submit a current resume will be considered for an interview.
