Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology Course or Unit Clerk Course required. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills, 35 words per minute required. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs. Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Must be able to lift 10lbs. Must be able to work with dual monitors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience preferred. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred. Previous experience using Epic/Radiant.
