Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Clerical experience in an acute, fast-paced, time sensitive healthcare environment. Working knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) systems and Connect Care platforms. Basic knowledge of Connect Care registration and appointment scheduling. Medical terminology or equivalent education. Proficient in using a computer, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, as well as frequent phone calls and faxes. This position sits for extended periods of time, may be required to travel between buildings on-site, supports patients in-person and over the phone, covers overtime requirements, and works in high traffic interdisciplinary environments.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience in Diagnostic Imaging and Hospital Emergency departments. Advanced knowledge of Connect Care Radiant platforms. Ability to work under pressure, manage fast-changing workload priorities, respond and support emergent acute patient needs. Strong organizational, technical, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. Demonstrates initiative, good judgement, teamwork, and concern for detail and accuracy.
