Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a grade 12 diploma or recognized equivalent required. Completion of a Unit clerk/Medical Office administration required from a recognized school. Computer keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to prioritize and manage stress in a fast-paced work environment. Must be able to have difficult conversations with patients, other staff and visitors. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bending, lifting, walking long distances at times as well as long periods of sitting is required. Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Oncology and connect care experience an asset and preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with previous unit clerk experience in a health care setting.
