Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary training in business administration, medical office assistant or equivalent. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Medical terminology. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills of 40-50 wpm. Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint and Visio. Experience with e-People, RMS, ESP. Must be able to physically lift/carry office supplies including but not limited to large boxes of paper and incoming supplies that require redistribution to team members throughout the site. Must be able to frequently disassemble, lift, carry and reassemble computer equipment, in and out of department to various required meetings. Ability to wear all PPE as required by the employer for the protection of self, colleagues and general hospital population.
Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working with the public and client support leadership. Maintains a professional image and has demonstrated ability to remain calm courteous and tactful at all times. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritize a heavy workload. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Previous Clerk Experience in Transition Services preferred.
