Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of Business Administrative//MOA course. Medical Terminology required, proficiency test will be administered. Keyboarding of 40 wpm, proficiency test will be administered. Must have working knowledge of a hospital based admission module. Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Knowledge of legislation regarding access, privacy and disclosure of patient information. Must have a high degree of customer service skills, critical thinking skills and ability to demonstrate flexibility within an environment of constant interruptions and changing work demands.
Preferred Qualifications:Meditech, Provincial Registration Standards & Practices, PD & ROCA an asset. Experience in Medical office setting. Experience operating a switchboard.
