Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:A high school diploma with additional formal secretarial training and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Electronic file management skills are required. Accurate typing speed of 50 wpm minimum is required. Must have the ability to be an effective team player, be flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment. Must also have the ability to deal with numerous interruptions and multiple tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work in, and enjoy fast paced, often loud and stressful work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Alpha and numerical data entry experience preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with previous knowledge of Meditech and strong computer and keyboarding skills. Experience with a multi-line switchboard and/or a busy telephone system in a health related environment is preferred.
