Alberta Health Services is seeking Health Research Interviewers to conduct telephone interviews and gather survey data that will inform provincial health initiatives. The Health Research Interviewer (HRI) group operates within the Primary Data Support (PDS) and Data and Analytics (DnA) portfolio. This is a casual position reporting to the Supervisor of Survey Operations. As an HRI, you will be an integral member of the research and data collection team, responsible for ongoing data collection for several Alberta Health Services survey initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct telephone interviews with a variety of Albertans—for example, recently discharged patients—for research and quality improvement purposes. Success in this role depends on: Conducting high-quality interviews that adhere to research protocols. Demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism. Working effectively in an individual, office-based setting. Showing attention to detail and a strong command of the English language. Possessing basic computer skills. A strong record of attendance and reliability must be demonstrated through employment references or past experience. Previous experience in a call centre environment is not required but will be considered an asset.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Strong self-starter with the ability to engage effectively with survey respondents to meet project goals. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute. Proficiency with basic Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to conduct telephone interviews while strictly adhering to research protocols. Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a call center, administrative, or data entry role. Demonstrated customer service experience. Familiarity with confidentiality standards in health research settings. Experience using multi-line phone systems. Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
