Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be capable of frequent heavy lifting and carrying of objects up to 40kg. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275kg. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Ability to read, write and comprehend English fluently. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, customers and vendors. Must be flexible, well organized, efficient, cooperative, dependable and detail oriented. Maintain a positive attitude while adapting to changing priorities. Computer literacy, particularly in a windows environment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Clerical experience and knowledge of office equipment. Knowledge of healthcare setting. Ability to set priorities and complete tasks under minimal supervision. Ability to effectively use a complex AHS network and directory system. Ability to maintain confidentiality of AHS in accordance with the AHS information privacy and information security policies. Experience in mail handling. Proven punctuality. Proven ability to adhere to AHS policies and procedures while incorporating a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work in an active and stressful environment. Knowledge of Canada post rules and regulations.
