Completion of two year diploma in Office Administration or Post-secondary education/courses in secretarial, human resources and or equivalency. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3-5 years advanced secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated abilities in: Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize own workload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to draft correspondence. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated excellent computer knowledge and skill. Establish and maintain collaborative, positive and professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Pleasant telephone manner. Maintain confidentiality. Ability to anticipate needs and action appropriately. Professionalism in dealing with public, management, staff and other departments. Commitment to teamwork.
